Electronic Communications, Records & Signatures Consent

Scope of consent

You consent to receive electronically the Terms of Use & Clinician Agreement, Privacy Notice, this Electronic Consent, updates to those documents, trial and subscription confirmations, payment receipts, automatic-renewal notices, cancellation confirmations, privacy and security notices, account changes, service changes, and other legally required records relating to Somatic Compass. This consent does not enroll you in marketing communications; any marketing choice is handled separately.

Electronic signature and acceptance

Your initial electronic signature requires an affirmative action. After the governing documents are linked for review, you must select an unchecked box confirming agreement and access to electronic records and then activate the clearly labeled acceptance button. Passive browsing, viewing the interactive preview, or merely continuing to use a public page does not constitute your initial signature.

Somatic Compass will preserve a reliable record of the accepted document titles and text or version, your account identity, the affirmative acceptance action, and the date and time of acceptance.

Hardware and software

To access and retain electronic records, you need a current internet-connected device; a supported browser capable of displaying web pages; a valid email address when email delivery is used; and the ability to save or print a web page or PDF. If these requirements change materially, we may provide an updated disclosure and request renewed consent where appropriate.

Copies and paper records

You may open, print, or save the governing documents from the links presented before acceptance. You may request an electronic or paper copy by emailing kat@somaticcompass.app and identifying the document and version. Somatic Compass does not currently charge a fee for a requested paper copy.

Updating your information

Keep your email and account information current. You may request a correction by emailing kat@somaticcompass.app. Do not include client information.

Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw consent to receive future records electronically by emailing kat@somaticcompass.app. Withdrawal becomes effective after we have had a reasonable opportunity to process and confirm it. It is prospective and does not affect the validity of earlier electronic records or signatures. Because Somatic Compass is an online service, withdrawal may require termination of online account access if no legally sufficient electronic-record arrangement remains available. We will confirm the result and explain any available alternative.
